Hospital emergency alerting application · Atricom Systems Ltd.
VitalNet is an emergency-alert application for medical staff at Beilinson Hospital (Rabin Medical Center). It notifies staff when the hospital declares an emergency or a drill, and helps them connect their device to the hospital’s private emergency network. It is distributed to authorised hospital employees only and is not intended for the general public.
VitalNet does not collect, transmit, sell or share any personal data. All information the app uses stays on the device.
None. VitalNet does not send any personal or device data to Atricom Systems or to any third party.
Specifically:
To perform its function the app stores a small amount of information locally on the phone. This information is provided by the hospital’s own system, is never transmitted by the app to Atricom or to third parties, and is permanently deleted when the app is uninstalled.

Receive SMS (RECEIVE_SMS) |
The hospital's alerting system sends emergency and drill activations as SMS over the hospital's private cellular network, because that network has no internet access and push notifications cannot be delivered on it. The app only processes messages that begin with the fixed prefix HEN: and originate from the hospital's verified system number. All other messages are ignored entirely — they are not read, parsed, stored or transmitted. Message handling happens on the device only. |

To detect which SIM and which mobile network the device is currently using, so the app can tell the user whether they are connected to the hospital emergency network. |

Note on SMS: the SMS permission is used exclusively for hospital emergency activation messages. VitalNet is not an SMS application: it cannot browse your inbox, cannot send messages, and has no access to your call history.
The app communicates only with servers operated by the hospital on its private network, in order to check connectivity and retrieve the current emergency status. No user content is sent in these requests. The app does not communicate with Atricom servers and does not transmit data to any third party.
We do not share, transfer or sell any user data. There is no user data leaving the device to share.
All information described in section 2 is stored only on the device. Uninstalling the application permanently deletes it. Because no data is transmitted or held on our servers, there is no remote data to request deletion of. Users may also clear the app’s data at any time via the device settings.
Information stored by the app remains within the application’s private storage on the device, protected by the Android security model. Communication with hospital systems takes place over the hospital’s private, closed cellular network, which is not accessible from the public internet.
VitalNet is an occupational tool for hospital staff and is intended for users aged 18 and over. It is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
If the application’s data practices change, this page will be updated and the effective date above revised. Material changes will be communicated to the hospital before they take effect.

איננו משתפים, מעבירים או מוכרים נתוני משתמש. אין נתוני משתמש היוצאים מהמכשיר.
כל המידע המתואר בסעיף 2 נשמר במכשיר בלבד. הסרת האפליקציה מוחקת אותו לצמיתות. מכיוון שאין נתונים
המשודרים או מוחזקים בשרתינו, אין נתונים מרוחקים שניתן לבקש את מחיקתם. ניתן גם לנקות את נתוני
האפליקציה בכל עת דרך הגדרות המכשיר.
המידע שהאפליקציה שומרת נשאר באחסון הפרטי שלה במכשיר, מוגן על ידי מודל האבטחה של Android.
התקשורת עם מערכות בית החולים מתבצעת ברשת הסלולרית הפרטית והסגורה של בית החולים, שאינה נגישה
מהאינטרנט הציבורי.
VitalNet היא כלי תעסוקתי לצוות בית חולים ומיועדת למשתמשים מגיל 18 ומעלה. היא אינה מיועדת לילדים ואיננו אוספים ביודעין מידע מילדים.
